Procedure when using HULFT Cipher Options

To use HULFT Cipher Options, you need to set an encryption scheme to be used in HULFT for Encryption Scheme (ciphertype) of the System Environment Settings.

If you have made any of the following changes in a Product Key Update, the value of Encryption Scheme (ciphertype) in the System Environment Settings will not be changed automatically.

  • When you have started using HULFT Cipher Options

  • When you have disabled HULFT Cipher Options

 

If you have made any of the changes described above in a Product Key Update, change the setting of Encryption Scheme (ciphertype) in the System Environment Settings according to your environment.

When you use HULFT Cipher Options

  1. On the HULFT Management Console, check the setting for Encryption Scheme (ciphertype) in the System Environment Settings.

    If "HULFT Encryption Scheme (0)" is set, change the setting to "Other Encryption Scheme (1)".

  2. Restart HULFT service.

When you do not use HULFT Cipher Options

  1. On the HULFT Management Console, check the setting for Encryption Scheme (ciphertype) in the System Environment Settings.

    If "Other Encryption Scheme (1)" is set, change the setting to "HULFT Encryption Scheme (0)".

  2. Restart HULFT service.
