List of Transfer Group Information fields

You can group the transfer destinations (remote hosts) and register those groups.

The maximum number of host names that you can specify per transfer group is 1000.

There are two ways to register the information.

(1) Field List

In the table below, the check marks in the Optional column indicate the fields considered optional during registration from the HULFT Management Console. Optional fields and mandatory fields for registration by running commands with parameter files may differ from those for registration using the HULFT Management Console.

For details on optional fields and mandatory fields for the registration by running commands with parameter files, refer to Management Information Batch Registration command.

Behavior when multiple hosts are registered

The behavior when multiple hosts are registered in Transfer Group ID of the Send Management Information differs between the Send File and the Send Request.

Send File

HULFT sends data to all the hosts registered in Transfer Group ID (multicasting).

Send Request

HULFT sends data only to hosts that issued the Send Request.

If a host that issued the Send Request has not been registered in Transfer Group ID, an error occurs.
