System Environment Settings file

(1) Types of System Environment Settings

The System Environment Settings are categorized into the following types of functions:

  • Startup

  • Code Conversion

  • Send and Receive

  • Communication

  • Security

  • Global

  • Transfer Test

  • Logs

  • Others

  • Shared Settings by HULFT

  • Scheduler

  • Mail Interface

  • Cluster

Note
  • Shared Settings by HULFT is displayed if HULFT8 Server grade is installed.

  • Scheduler is displayed if HULFT8 Server grade is installed.

(2) File Name

The system environment is set in a file according to the function. You cannot change the names of these files.

The storage folders should correspond to HULPATH set in 'hulft.ini.'

System Environment Settings file (HULPATH\hulenv.cnf)

Set the operation environment for startup, code conversion, and communication.

Observe Definition file (HULPATH\service.dat)

Set the Observe Log Output. Refer to Observe Definition file for details.

Account file (HULPATH\psaccount.dat)

Set the account settings.

Holidays file (HULPATH\scholiday.dat)

Set the holidays for Scheduler.

Designated Non-working Days file (HULPATH\userhday.dat)

Set the designated non-working days for Scheduler.

Mail Environment Settings file (HULPATH\Mail\sendmail.ini)

Set the Mail Interface function.

(3) Description Format

System Environment Settings file (hulenv.cnf)

If a line begins with a number sign (#), the line is considered as a comment line. One or more blank lines can be contained.

The line where a field is set should be described in the following format.

 

tag_name=set_value

 

A tag name is a unique name used to represent the name of the field that is to be set. Because the tag name is fixed, you cannot change it.

Use an equal sign (=) to separate the tag name and the set value. Spaces before and after the equal sign are acceptable.

A newline character (0x0d0a) needs to be added after the set value.

Mail Environment Settings file (sendmail.ini)

If a line begins with a semicolon (;), the line is considered as a comment line. One or more blank lines are acceptable.

The line where a field is set should be described in the following format.

Use an equal sign (=) to separate the tag name and the set value. The function will not operate correctly if there are spaces before or after the equal sign (=).

Account file (psaccount.dat)

This file can be set only on the HULFT Management Console or via HULFT Manager. Refer to Operation Manual or Manager Online HELP for details.

Holidays file (scholiday.dat)

This file can be set only on the HULFT Management Console or via HULFT Manager. Refer to Operation Manual or Manager Online HELP for details.

Designated Non-working Days file (userhday.dat)

This file can be set only on the HULFT Management Console or via HULFT Manager. Refer to Operation Manual or Manager Online HELP for details.
