Handling of host names

In HULFT, information about remote hosts to which files are transferred are managed in the "Host Information" (one of the management information databases contained in HULFT). The Host Information manages information such as Host Type and Code Set for Transfer by using host names as keys, not by using IP addresses, in HULFT (excluding HULFT for K).

It is necessary to register a remote host name in the Host Information before carrying out file transfer. In addition, it is necessary to register a host name and an IP address in the "hosts" file on each machine or in a DNS server.
