Sending Side Job Status and Receiving Side Job Status

You can check the job status of sending or receiving on the following screens:

  • Send Detail Information Inquiry (Sending Side Job Status) screen

    You can check the Post-send Job on the host on the sending side.

    This screen is displayed by switching from the Send Detail Information Inquiry screen.

  • Receive Detail Information Inquiry (Receiving Side Job Status) screen

    You can check the Post-receive Job of the host on the receiving side.

    This screen is displayed by switching from the Receive Detail Information Inquiry screen.

  • Send Detail Information Inquiry (Receiving Side Job Status) screen

    You can check the Post-receive Job on the host on the sending side.

    This screen is displayed by switching from the Send Detail Information Inquiry screen.

The following explanation uses the Send Detail Information Inquiry (Sending Side Job Status) screen as an example.

The screen configuration is the same as the Receive Detail Information Inquiry (Receiving Side Job Status) screen. When you read the description, replace the word "send" with "receive."

Job Execution Date

The job execution date is displayed.

Job Name

The job name of the job started after send completion is displayed.

Start Time

The time at which the job started is displayed.

End Time

The time at which the job ended is displayed.

Status

The job end status is displayed.

0:

Successful end

Other than 0:

Unsuccessful end (the exit status of the startup job)

Note

  • In the section of Sending Side Job Status, the information of successful job is displayed when Status is "0", while the information of unsuccessful job is displayed when Status is other than "0".

  • The pre-send job is not displayed in the Sending Side Job Status section.

= Remarks =

Start Time and End Time in the Receiving Side Job Status show 9 when the send job is not executed either because the job ID is not registered in the Job Information or due to an error in the Job Information definition.

Each field of the Send Detail Information Inquiry (Receiving Side Job Status) screen displayed from the Send Detail Information Inquiry (Sending Side Job Status) screen is described below:

Job Execution Date

The job execution date is displayed.

Job Name

The job name of the job started after receive completion is displayed.

Start Time

The time at which the job started is displayed.

End Time

The time at which the job ended is displayed.

Status

  • Where the host on the receiving side is HULFT for UNIX:

    The job end status is displayed.

    0:

    Successful end

    Other than 0:

    Unsuccessful end (the exit status of the startup job)

  • Where the host on the receiving side is other than HULFT for UNIX:

    Refer to Operation Manual of HULFT on the receiving side.

Note

  • You may not be able to view the Receiving Side Job Status correctly in the following cases:

    • When the system times of the host on the sending side and host on the receiving side differ

    • When the host on the receiving side does not respond to the Post-receive Job Result Inquiry (HULJOB)

    • When the Observe process of the host on the receiving side is not started

    • When transfer is carried out via HULFT-HUB

  • If the file ID exceeds 8 bytes, the Receiving Side Job Status cannot be displayed.

  • Start Time and End Time in the Receiving Side Job Status show 9 when the send job is not executed either because the job ID is not registered in the Job Information or due to an error in the Job Information definition.

  • To return to the Send Detail Information Inquiry (Sending Side Job Status) screen from the Send Detail Information Inquiry (Receiving Side Job Status) screen, press the "Ctrl+u."
