Installation modes
HULFT has the following two installation modes:
-
Interactive Installation
-
Silent Installation
You can use these modes by running the HULFT setup program.
Interactive Installation
In this mode, you can install HULFT interactively by using screens that appear when you run the setup program.
To use interactive installation, run the setup program.
Use this installation mode when you want to install HULFT by configuring settings according to the installation environment.
For details on the screens and operation of the setup program, refer to Interactive installation.
Silent Installation
In this mode, you can install HULFT without displaying installation screens by using the information that you recorded when you installed another instance of HULFT.
Before you use Silent Installation, you must run the setup program in the Create Installation Information File mode to create the Installation Information file. You can edit the Installation Information file according to each user environment.
Then, running the setup program in the Execute Silent Installation mode makes the system read required information for the installation from the Installation Information file. The mode allows you to install the application without on-screen operation.
Use this installation mode when you install HULFT in multiple environments with the same conditions or when you install HULFT in multiple environments by modifying the setting values of the Installation Information file for each environment.
For details on the operation for Silent Installation and the Installation Information file, refer to Silent Installation.
