Starting the setup program

Install the HULFT modules that are necessary for the operation of HULFT by using the setup program.

Start the setup program by running the following command:

# pwd 
/usr/local/HULFT/insttmp 
# ./installer

Note

The setup program accepts only alphanumeric characters and symbols as input characters.

The installation start screen appears. Proceed to Starting the installation.

The HULFT setup program automatically determines the display language and code set for the screen of the setup program according to the system locale.

If the display language for the system locale is not "Japanese" or "Chinese" and the code set is not "UTF-8", a screen for selecting the combination of the display language and code set for the setup program appears before the installation start screen.

 Select a language that you want to use during installation.


   English(UTF-8)
   English(EUC-JP)
   English(SHIFT-JIS)
   English(GB18030)
   Japanese(UTF-8)
   Japanese(EUC-JP)
   Japanese(SHIFT-JIS)

When the above screen appears, select the combination of the display language and code set for the screen of the setup program.

When you select a combination and press the Enter key, the installation start screen appears with the selected combination of the display language and code set.
