This section describes the fields in the Installation Information file for Express Installation and Custom Installation, respectively.

When the installation route is "Express Installation'"

Table 3.1 shows a list of the fields in the Installation Information file.

Each field in the Installation Information file corresponds to an item on screens of the setup program.

For details of each field, refer to Express Installation.

  • A line starting with '#' (number sign) is a comment. Blank lines and/or lines comprised of only nulls are disregarded.

  • Spaces or tabs put before and/or after 'Field = set value' are removed.

  • You cannot put spaces or tabs before and/or after '=' (equal sign).

  • The maximum length per line is 4095 bytes.

  • The setup program does not check for duplicate field names. Any existing values are overwritten by values set later.

When the installation route is 'Custom Installation'

Table 3.2 shows a list of the fields in the Installation Information file.
