Installation directory

Select the directory in which HULFT is installed (in this manual, this is called the installation directory).

For the examples in this manual, the following directory is used as the installation destination directory:

HULFT

/usr/local/HULFT

When you install HULFT in a clustering environment

Execution module storage directory

/usr/local/HULFT/bin

Environment settings file storage directory

/mnt/shareddisk/HULFT/etc

Note

  • Be sure to create a backup of any HULFT environment that already exists in the installation directory. For the backup method, refer to Backup.

  • Specify a separate installation directory for each product.

  • Do not create files or place any user-made files in the installation directory.

When you use HULFT in a clustering environment, you must install a HULFT product that supports clustering functions. For details, refer to Clustering environments.
