Send Request (a file transfer started on the receiving side)
The Send Request function is used to start a file transfer from the side that will receive the file.
You can execute the Send Request by using the HULFT Management Console or a batch command.
This section describes the method to execute the Send Request from the System Configuration screen of the HULFT Management Console. For information on how to execute the Send Request on the HULFT Main Menu screen or by a batch command, refer to Operation Manual.
In order to execute this function, the resident processes of HULFT (the Send daemon, the Receive daemon, and the Observe daemon) should be running. For further details, refer to Startup of HULFT.
For the startup method and the operation method of the System Configuration screen of the HULFT Management Console, refer to System Environment Settings for HULFT.
The procedure to execute the Send Request is as follows:

On the System Configuration screen, select '2. Receive Management Information' by using the up arrow key and the down arrow key, and then press the Enter key.
The Receive Management Information List screen appears.

Select the record to which you want to issue the Send Request by using the up arrow key and the down arrow key, and then press 'Ctrl+u.'
