Security Settings

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the cursor to 6. Security Settings on the System Environment Settings screen and then press the Enter key.

The Security Settings screen is displayed.

On this screen, specify and check the following fields.

(1) Forced Strong Key Mode

To use Forced Strong Key mode, you must set "1" (Enabled) for Forced Strong Key Mode (strongkeymode) in the System Environment Settings. The default value for Forced Strong Key Mode differs depending on the installation type. Change the setting value after installation if necessary.

After performing a New Installation, "0" (Disabled) is set for Forced Strong Key Mode (strongkeymode) in the System Environment Settings.

For details, refer to Preparation before using Forced Strong Key mode.

Note

The validity of cipher key differs depending on the value set for Forced Strong Key mode (enabled or disabled). We do not recommend to change Forced Strong Key mode in the middle of operations because communication might be affected incorrectly.
