Pre-receive job timeout

If you have set a pre-receive job in the Receive Management Information, the file transfer does not start before the user job specified as the pre-receive job ends.

1) Before the file transfer starts, the Receive system activates the user job specified as the pre-receive job.

Until this job is complete, the Receive system remains in the waiting status without doing anything.

2) After the pre-receive job ends, the file transfer is started.

 

However, if the timeout value for waiting for the result of the pre-receive job set in 2) is not long enough, the file transfer may be terminated due to the timeout.

Specify the timeout for the job shown as 2) in the above figure as Job Timeout.
