Settings in HULFT for UNIX/Linux or HULFT for NSK
The name of your local host is specified as Local Host Name on the HULFT Management Console or in the System Environment Settings file.
System Environment Settings file
HULPATH/hulenv.conf
- Tag Name
-
myhostname
How to specify the settings
-
On the HULFT Management Console, specify Local Host Name in the System Environment Settings.
-
In the System Environment Settings file, write the following:
myhostname= local host name
Default values
The name of host you specified when you installed HULFT
Note
The host name specified as Local Host Name (myhostname) is notified to the remote host. If Local Host Name (myhostname) is not set, the host name you can obtain using the hostname command is notified. For HULFT for NSK, the TCP/IP process host name specified on TCPIP^PROCESS^NAME DEFINE is notified.
Make sure you spell the name accurately when it is registered on the remote host, because it may be case sensitive. When the remote host is Mainframe, IBMi or Fujitsu K, register the field in upper case to the Host Information of each host.
