Starting HULFT Script Server

Use the following method to manually start HULFT Script Server:

In the Start menu in Windows, select All Programs > HULFT Family > HULFT8 Script > HULFT Script Server.

If HULFT Script Server starts successfully, the message 'HULFT Script Server was successfully started.' is output to 'server.log' or HULFT Script Server startup console.

You can also use one of the following methods to start HULFT Script Server:

  • Start from the Services in Windows (when it is registered as a Windows service)

    1. Open the Services in Windows Task Manager.

    2. Right-click HULFT Script Service and then click Start Service in the pop-up menu.

  • Start from an exe file

    $HULFTSCRIPT_HOME\server\bin\HULFTScriptServer.exe

Note
  • When you start HULFT Script Server for the first time, Help index is built. Because of this, the initial startup takes a little more time.

  • To start HULFT and HULFT Script, start HULFT Script first and then start HULFT.

    If HULFT carries out sending or receiving while HULFT Script trigger is stopped, processing that is started by the trigger may not be executed.
