Synchronizing settings
For the following settings, there is no data synchronization necessary, as each node in a cluster references the same data in a shared volume.
-
Configuration items for which no synchronization is necessary:
-
Holiday settings
-
Trigger settings
-
Global resource settings
-
Application log output settings
-
Environment variable settings
-
My Log search criteria settings
For the following settings, synchronization of configuration settings between two nodes in the cluster becomes necessary.
Settings for which manual synchronization is necessary
Synchronization can be achieved by either of the following methods:
-
Manually edit the changed contents in the target files on each node.
-
Copy the files.
Before making changes or copies, creating backup data is recommended.
-
$HULFTSCRIPT_HOME/server/bin/HULFTScriptServer.lax
-
If you change the heap size, it is recommended to set the same value in each cluster node.
-
$HULFTSCRIPT_HOME/server/conf/dslog.properties
-
If you change the settings related to log management, such as the log level, file size for rolling up, and number of backlogs, it is recommended to configure the same settings in each cluster node.
-
$HULFTSCRIPT_HOME/server/conf/system.properties
-
If you change the system properties, it is recommended to set the same system properties in each cluster node.
Settings for which synchronization using client tools is necessary
For the following settings, use [Control Panel] in HULFT Script Studio for Web to set the same values in each cluster node.
