Product Key Update

By carrying out 'Product Key Update,' you can change the product information or extend the usage period of HULFT Manager without installing the product module.

Product Key Update is required for the following cases:

  • Modification of the Product Information

    • When changing the host name

    • When migrating from a Trial version to a Product version

    • When migrating from a Product version (Fixed Term License) to a Product version

  • Extension of the usage period

    • When extending the usage period of a Product version (Fixed Term License)

Run the setup program that is stored on the setup module for HULFT8 Manager and update the Product Key.

Note

The Product Key can only be updated if the version, level, and revision of the product that is already installed are the same as those of the product on the setup module.

= Remarks =

  • 'Product Information' refers to the basic information of HULFT Manager, such as the product type (Product version or Trial version, etc), validity of license, and the host name where the product is installed.

  • You can check the usage period for a Product version (Fixed Term License) from the Version Information dialog box. Use the following procedure to display the Version Information dialog box.

    1. Click Version Information on the upper-right corner of the HULFT Manager main screen.

    2. The Version Information dialog box is displayed. You can check the usage period.

  • You cannot carry out Product Key Update to switch from a Product version to a Trial version.
