Management Screen Security (admcheck)

Specify whether or not to use the Management Screen Security function. Note that the Management Screen Security function becomes invalid unless Password Check is set as 'Yes' (enable password check).

Observe Host Check (obshstchk)

Specify how HULFT operates when it accepts service requests where the host that issued the request is not registered in the Host Information. This applies to the following services: Send Request (SEND), Resend Request (RESEND), Post-receive Job Result Reference Request (HULJOB), Job Execution Result Notification (HULSNDRC), and Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB).

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT lower than Ver.8.4.

No:

Continue the Observe processing

Yes:

Refuse the connection from the host that issued the request, and handle the case as an error

Password Check (password)

Specify whether or not to carry out user and password checks when being connected to from the HULFT Management Console or HULFT Manager.

Yes:

Enable password check

No:

Disable password check

Note

When you change the setting from 'No' to 'Yes' and save it, users are prompted to enter the user ID and password the next time they attempt to connect to HULFT on the destination host from HULFT Manager, even if the HULFT is not restarted after the change.

Note that you need to register necessary users on HULFT installed on the destination host before you change the setting to 'Yes' and save it. Otherwise, the users cannot connect to HULFT on the destination host.

Allow Send/Resend Request from Unregistered Host (allowsndreq)

Specify whether to accept service requests for Send Request (SEND) and Resend Request (RESEND) from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Allow Post-receive Job Result Inquiry from Unregistered Host (allowpostrjobrslt)

Specify whether to accept service requests for Post-Receive Job Result Inquiry (HULJOB) from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Allow Job Result Notification Request from Unregistered Host (allowjobrsltntfy)

Specify whether to accept service requests for Job Execution Result Notification (HULSNDRC) from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Allow Remote Job Execution Request from Unregistered Host (allowrmtjobexe)

Specify whether to accept service requests for Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB) from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Allow Instant Transfer from Unregistered Host (allowinsttrans)

Specify whether to accept requests for instant transfer from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Accept the requests for instant transfer

No:

Refuse the requests for instant transfer

Instant Transfer Receive Root Directory (insttransroot)

Specify the root folder under which receive files are stored in instant transfer.

When the save destination for the receive file is specified on the sending-side host, this folder or a subfolder of this folder must be specified. If an other folder is specified, a transfer error occurs.

If a save destination for the receive file is omitted on the sending-side host, the receive file is stored in the folder specified in this field.

Forced Strong Key Mode (strongkeymode)

Specifies whether Forced Strong Key Mode is on or off.

This field is displayed when the destination host is HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

This field can be viewed but not modified on the HULFT Manager Management Console. To modify the settings, edit the System Environment Settings file.
