Date Format (datefmt)

Specify the date format that HULFT on the destination host uses.

YMD:

YYYY/MM/DD

MDY:

MM/DD/YYYY

DMY:

DD/MM/YYYY

After you change the setting, the date format that is used for the following is changed:

  • HULFT Management Console

  • Log output results

  • Command output results

  • Environment variables

Note
  • When Date Format (datefmt) is changed, the format of dates that are output to the following files will be a mixture of both previous and current date formats.

    • The Console Log file

    • The output file that is recorded while the Job Execution Result Notification (HULSNDRC) service is running

    • The output file that is recorded while the Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB) service is running

    • The output file that is recorded while the File Trigger (HULTRG) service is running

    • The installation log file

To prevent such a mixture of displayed date formats, delete these files before changing Date Format.

  • If you changed Date Format, use the format you specified above when entering the date for command parameters.

  • The date format displayed on the HULFT Manager Management Console matches the setting on the HULFT Manager main screen.

Therefore, when you change Date Format with this setting, the date format of HULFT on the destination host is changed, but not that of HULFT Manager Management Console.

HULFT Operation Language (hullang)

Specify the language to be used in HULFT on the destination host.

ENG:

English

JPN:

Japanese

ZHO:

Chinese

'ZHO' is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT Ver.8.1 or higher.

After you change the setting, restart the HULFT Management Console on the destination host to reflect the language change for the HULFT Management Console.

After the language is specified, restart the HULFT service on the destination host to reflect the language change for the following:

  • Messages output by commands

  • Messages output to the Console Log

However, if you specify 'ZHO,' HULFT outputs these messages in English.

The languages that can be specified for HULFT Operation Language (hullang) vary depending on the system locale. For details, refer to Windows Administration Manual.

Note
  • The language displayed on the HULFT Manager Management Console matches the setting on the HULFT Manager main screen.

Therefore, when you change HULFT Operation Language with this setting, the language of HULFT on the destination host is changed, but not that of the HULFT Manager Management Console.
