Code Set for Transfer (cs4trnsfr)

Specify the code set of the system that the destination host uses.

This field is used in the code conversion of files.

This field is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT Ver.8.1 or higher.

Kanji Code Type (knjcode)

This field specifies the character code of the system in use.

This field is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT lower than Ver.8.1.

Standard for Japanese (jistype)

This field specifies the Japanese standard for the character code of the system in use.

This field is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT Ver.8.1 or higher.

JIS Year (jistype)

This field specifies the Japanese standard for the character code of the system in use.

This field is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT lower than Ver.8.1.

Tab Code Mode (tabchange)

This field specifies how to handle a tab code, namely, whether to treat a tab code (0x09) as a space code (0x20), in the Text transfer to Type MF-IBMi hosts.

Note

The code after conversion complies with the conversion rules of EBCDIC set.

KEIS Em-size Space Mode (keisspmode)

This field specifies the conversion rules of em-size (full-width) space code in KEIS.

Mode 0:

Convert the em-size (full-width) space code into 0x4040

Mode 1:

Convert the em-size (full-width) space code into 0xA1A1

Use Custom Character Table (gaijifile)

This field specifies how to handle custom character table conversion.

Off:

Convert all the custom character codes to '' without using the custom character table

On:

Convert custom character codes to relevant codes by referring to the custom character table

Priority:

Convert to relevant codes by referring to the custom character table with priority

Handling of Unregistered Custom Characters (gaijierr)

This field specifies the handling of the codes which are neither defined as JIS Basic Kanji nor registered in the custom character table.

Default Value:

Convert to default code

Handle the non-registered character as an error

Code Conversion Mode (codechangemode)

This field specifies how to treat custom character strings.

Mode 0:

In code conversion, this mode treats output codes as fixed length and carries out conversion to custom characters

(except for UTF-8)

Mode 1:

In code conversion, this mode treats output codes as variable length and carries out conversion to custom characters

Instant Transfer Code Converting Side (insttranscodcnv)

This field specifies whether code conversion is performed on the sending side or the receiving side when the instant transfer is used to send a file.

This field is displayed when HULFT Manager connects to HULFT Ver.8.4 or higher.

Sending Side:

Perform code conversion on the sending-side host

Receiving Side:

Perform code conversion on the receiving-side host
