Starting HULFT Management Console

When you start HULFT Management Console, Screen 3.1 HULFT Main Menu screen appears.

Note

  • Do not open the Management Console on the console. Doing so may result in an incorrect operation.

  • Ensure that the CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) settings of your emulator (Host Code-Page) and of the job that starts HULFT Management Console satisfy one of the following conditions:

    [Configuration 1]

    • Complete agreement of CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) settings between your emulator and HULFT Character Set in the System Environment Settings file

    • Setting the CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) of the job to 65535

    • To start the HULFT Management Console in Japanese, specify a Japanese host code page in your emulator settings.

    [Configuration 2]

    • Complete agreement of CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) settings between your emulator and HULFT Character Set in the System Environment Settings file

    • Complete agreement of CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) settings between the job and HULFT Character Set in the System Environment Settings file

    • To start the HULFT Management Console in Japanese, specify a Japanese host code page in your emulator settings.

Explanation of parameters

LIB=Library name

Library name in which HULFT is installed (Mandatory, "HULFT" by default)

Specify this parameter as an alphanumeric character string of 10 bytes or less starting with an alphabet.

Language that you want to use to display HULFT Management Console (Optional)

Japanese

ENG :

English

When omitted, HULFT uses the value of HULFT Operation Language (HULLANG) of the System Environment Settings.
