Multicasting
The same Send file can be sent to multiple hosts. This can be implemented by registering multiple hosts in the Transfer Group Information. The Post-send Job is activated each time HULFT executes sending to a host. A maximum of 48 hosts can be registered in a Transfer Group.
The flow of the multicasting processing is explained in Figure 2.10 .
1) Startup of Send job
The Send Acknowledge job starts the Send job on all the hosts registered in the Transfer Group Information of the Send Management Information file. Each Send job transfers the Send file.
2) Registration of Send Log information
After completion of sending, the Send job writes the results to the Send Log file.
3) Startup of Post-send Job
The Send job starts the job registered as a Post-send Job.
