Work Library (TMPPATH)

This field specifies the library where HULFT stores the temp files and the user queues. (Mandatory)

Specify a library other than existing QTEMP for this field.

= Remarks =

The user queues that are stored in the library that is specified for this field are SDDxx2,SDDxx4, RCVxx, OBSxx, OPLxx, OPLCxx, and OPLFxx, which are used by each job that constitutes HULFT to communicate each other. The specification of the Job Process Key (FIFOKEYNUM) determines the value that is assigned to 'xx'.

Local Host Name (MYHOSTNAME)

This field specifies the host name on TCP/IP that HULFT uses. (Mandatory)

HULFT uses the host name that you specified for this field as its own host name.

If the host type of a remote host is Fujitsu K Series, only first 8-byte characters within the specified string are valid.

Receive Port No. (RCVPORT)

This field specifies the port number that is used by the Receive Acknowledge job when it communicates with other hosts. (Mandatory)

Make sure this port number does not conflict with the port number reserved by the operating systems or the port number used by the Observe job and the Send Acknowledge job.

Observe Port No. (OBSPORT)

This field specifies the port number that is used by the Observe job when it communicates with other hosts. (Mandatory)

Make sure this port number does not conflict with the port number reserved by the operating systems or the port number used by the Receive Acknowledge job and the Send Acknowledge job.

Send Acknowledge Port No. (SDDPORT)

This field specifies the port number for the Send Acknowledge job to communicate internally. (Mandatory)

Make sure this port number does not conflict with the port number reserved by the operating systems or the port number used by the Receive Acknowledge job and the Observe job.

Send Job Multiplex Level (SNDPSNUM)

This field specifies the maximum number of the Send jobs that the Send Acknowledge job can start at a time. (Optional)

If omitted, '10' is set.

In the Send process, the more the number of the Send process started at a time increases, the heavier the workload of the system and communication lines becomes. Specify an appropriate value for this field in line with the state of the current system that uses HULFT.

Receive Job Multiplex Level (RCVPSNUM)

This field specifies the maximum number of the Receive jobs that can start at a time. (Optional)

If omitted, '99999' is set.

HULFT cannot accept the number of receiving that exceeds the set value. Specify an appropriate value for this field in line with the state of the current system that uses HULFT.

Job Process Key (FIFOKEYNUM)

This field specifies the key that is used for communication between each acknowledge job and jobs. (Optional)

Make sure the key does not conflict with each other if you start multiple instances of HULFT in the same work library on the same operating system. You do not need to change the value of this field unless you use multiple instances of HULFT on the same operating system.
