When you restart the HULFT Management Console after the field is set, the language used in the screen is changed.

When you restart a resident job in HULFT after the field is set, the date format of the following is changed:

If omitted, '1' is set.
Note-
If you change the value of the Date Format (DATEFMT) while HULFT has been operating, date formats before and after change are mixed up in the files listed below:

Message output destination file that is specified by OUTPUT parameter in resident jobs and commands

Output file that is specified on executing the Job Execution Result Notification (HULSNDRC) service

Output file that is specified on executing the Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB) service

Output file that is specified on executing the Send and Receive Log List Display command (UTLLIST)

Job execution result output file for the Remote Job Execution command (UTLRJOB)
To prevent the mixed-up date format, delete the relevant files before you change the value of the Date Format (DATEFMT).

If you have changed the value of the Date Format (DATEFMT), specify the relevant command parameters according to the date format that is specified for this field.
- HULFT Character Set (HULCHARSET)

This field specifies the CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) for jobs that use HULFT. (Mandatory)
The value that you specify for this field is used as the CCSID (Coded Character Set Identifier) that is used in HULFT for messages and comments.
NoteThis field can be set only during installation. You cannot set this field on HULFT Management Console.
