Handling of EOF in text files

HULFT

8.1.0

The handling of EOF (0x1A) when "TEXT" (T) is specified for Transfer Type (TRANSTYPE) in Send Management Information has changed.

In versions of HULFT lower than Ver.8.1.0, if EOF (0x1A) appeared in a text file, that point was treated as the end of the file, and EOF (0x1A) and the data that followed it were not sent.

In HULFT Ver.8.1.0 and higher, EOF (0x1A) in a text file is handled as a part of the data and EOF (0x1A) and the data that follows it are sent.

= Remarks =

If the Transmission Type (TRANSTYPE) is something other than "TEXT" (T), EOF (0x1A) is always handled as a part of the data.
