Increase of ID length

HULFT

8.0.0

The maximum byte count for each ID has been increased.

In line with this, the following ID environment variables, which are specified when a job is executed, have also increased:

  • File ID ($FILEID): when a pre-send job, post-send job or a post-receive job is executed

  • Trigger ID ($TRGID): when a job to be executed after the detection of a monitored event is executed

Therefore, if the environment variable of IDs is used in external programs, the area of up to 50 bytes must be reserved.

Note

The Trigger ID ($TRGID) is available when you install one of the following products:

  • HULFT8 for UNIX/Linux-Enterprise

  • HULFT8 for Windows-Server

  • HULFT7 for UNIX/Linux-EX

  • HULFT7 for Windows-EX
