Limitations in features of HULFT for UNIX/Linux

This section explains what limitations exist in which product versions of HULFT for UNIX/Linux when connected from HULFT8 Manager.

(1) Limitations when connecting to HULFT for UNIX/Linux Ver.6

Conditions on destination host

If a destination host meets all of the following conditions, the limitations are applied:

HULFT PPP Server Option is not provided for the English editions.

Limitations in features

When connected from HULFT8 Manager, there are limitations as follows:

You cannot update the System Environment Settings. (You can only view the information.)
You cannot view or copy on the Host Information Update screen of the destination host if Connection Type of the host is set to the following value (while you can view and delete the same information in the Host Information List screen):
- "P (PPP)"

(2) Limitations when connecting from HULFT Manager Ver.8.0.x

When connected from HULFT Manager Ver.8.0.x, there are limitations as follows:

	Use Regular Expression	In HULFT for UNIX/Linux Ver.8.1.0 or higher, the File Trigger ID is not displayed in the File Trigger Information List screen if "Y" (Yes) is specified to the File Trigger Information.
	Path to Directory	In HULFT for UNIX/Linux Ver.8.1.0 or higher, the field of the Path to Directory is not displayed in the File Trigger Information Update screen if the following two fields are set in the File Trigger Information: Monitor Subdirectories is set to "N (No)". Use Regular Expression is set to "N (No)".

(3) Limitations on the connection from HULFT Manager lower than Ver.8.4.0 to HULFT for UNIX/Linux Ver.8.4.0 or higher

In HULFT Manager lower than Ver.8.4.0, Trace Output Mode is displayed. In HULFT Manager higher than Ver.8.4.0, Output to Trace Log is displayed.
