Enhancement in cluster-capable functions

HULFT-JPN

7.3.0

-

To support clustering environments, the start synchronization function, the forced stop function, and the process auto end function are now available. For details, refer to Clustering Manual.

Note

The functions below are available when HULFT8 for Windows-Server or HULFT7 for Windows-EX is installed.

(1) Start Synchronization function

Before HULFT service starts up, this function checks that the processes that are specified for the Automatic Module Startup (autostart) in the System Environment Settings have started successfully. If the processes have started successfully, this function starts HULFT service. If one of the processes does not start, this function stops other processes and then stops the service.

(2) Forced Stop function

If clustering software detects an error, this function forcibly stops HULFT service and other processes so that failover can occur immediately.

(3) Process Auto End function

If HULFT service terminates unsuccessfully, each process detects the termination of HULFT service, and automatically ends after processing is completed.
