Code set option function for local host

HULFT 8.1.0

For versions of HULFT lower than Ver.8.1.0, the code set for multi-byte characters of the local host that are used for code conversion could be selected only for HULFT for UNIX/Linux.

For versions of HULFT higher than HULFT Ver.8.1.0, the code set for multi-byte characters of the local host can now also be selected for the following host types.

• HULFT8 for Windows

• HULFT8 for zOS

• HULFT8 for IBMi

The code set of the local host is specified in Code Set for Transfer in the System Environment Settings.
