Loss of data due to custom character conversion
Execution of Code Conversion to EUC-JP converts custom characters into characters of 3 bytes.
Execution of Code Conversion to UTF-8 converts custom characters into characters of 3 or 4 bytes.
Execution of Code Conversion to GB18030 converts custom characters into characters of 4 bytes.
For HULFT for IBMi, HULFT for UNIX/Linux, HULFT for NSK, or HULFT for Windows, setting Code Conversion Mode to 'Mode 1' can convert custom characters into characters of 3 bytes or more. Conversion under such settings may cause data loss.
