Example of conversion in format transfer and multi format transfer

This section explains conversion for format transfer and multi format transfer and provides examples of cases where conversion requires special attention.

Some data may be lost depending on the combination of the settings of the following fields:

• Code Set for Transfer (cs4trnsfr) in the System Environment Settings on the host where HULFT carries out conversion

• Code Set for Transfer (KCODETYPE) for the remote host that you registered in the Host Information

• Field Type and Byte Count that are specified in the Format Information for format transfer or multi format transfer
