Conversion from Type-EBCDIC Code Set to Type-ASCII Code Set
Table 2.23 shows the rules of space code conversion when HULFT carries out conversion from the Type-EBCDIC Code Set to the Type-ASCII Code Set.

When you carry out conversion from one of the Type-EBCDIC Code Sets to EUC-JP with sending-side conversion on HULFT for Mainframe, you can specify the following field to select whether to use two consecutive single-byte spaces or a double-byte space:
