Installation

The installation procedure for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows is as follows:

(1) Termination of HULFT

Terminate HULFT.

For the termination method of HULFT, refer to the following:

HULFT8 Windows Operation Manual: HULFT Termination command

(2) Extraction of the Installation Module for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows

Extract or mount the installer module to any location.

After extraction or mounting, use the setup program "setup.exe" to install HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows.

(3) Installation of HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows

Start the "setup.exe" setup program.

Install HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows using interactive mode.

Starting the setup program

Start the setup program.

When the program starts, the plug-in name is displayed.

This program installs the following Cloud Storage Plugin.

Setting the installation folder

Specify the installation folder for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows.

For the installation folder for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows, specify the installation folder for HULFT8 for Windows.

The installation folder for HULFT8 for Windows is displayed for Default. Input the installation folder for HULFT to the right of the arrow (->) according to the environment for HULFT.

If you do not enter anything and then press the Enter key, HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows is installed to the folder specified for Default.

Please specify the HULFT installation path. 
Default: C:\HULFT Family\hulft8\bin 
 -> C:\HULFT Family\hulft8\bin

Confirmation of Update Installation of the files for the plug-in

If the files for the plug-in for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Option(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows already exist, you must confirm whether to perform Update Installation.

The plugin is already installed. 
Do you want to update the installation? 
[y/n]

To perform Update Installation, enter "Y" or "y".

To cancel Update Installation, enter "N" or "n".

Backup

If a folder already exists for "Backup Target Folder Name" in Table 4.4 , the existing module is backed up.

Backups are performed separately for each folder.

The names of the backup target folders and the folders after backup are as follows:

Starting the installation

Start the installation of HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows.

Installation started.

Ending the installation

When the installation ends successfully

When the installation ends successfully, the following message is displayed:

Installation completed successfully.

When the installation ends unsuccessfully

When the installation ends unsuccessfully, the following message is displayed:

Installation failed because an error occurred while copying the installation files. 
<Message that is output by the OS>

If the installation ends unsuccessfully, an error may have occurred while copying the files for the plug-in.

For details on the error, check Message that is output by the OS.

Take the necessary measures to resolve the error based on Message that is output by the OS.

Procedures after ending the installation

After ending the installation, press the Enter key to end interactive mode.

After you press the Enter key, the installation is complete.

Please press the Enter key.

(4) Confirmation of installation completion for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows

You cannot check the name of the installed plug-in in the Version Information dialog box for the HULFT Management Console and the HULFT Manager Management Console. You can only check the information for HULFT Cloud Storage Option in the Version Information dialog box.

Use the Product Confirmation command (utlhulversion) to check whether the module for HULFT8 Cloud Storage Plugin(on Google Cloud Storage) for Windows is installed.
