If in the message filter file a message is specified not to be output, when you use HULFT functions, unexpected behaviors such as unsuccessful end may occur

Phenomenon

If in the message filter file a message is specified not to be output, when you use any of the following HULFT functions, unexpected behaviors such as unsuccessful end (0C4) may occur.

  • Sending functions

  • Receiving functions

  • Observe functions

  • Utilities

  • HULFT Management Console

  • Connection with HULFT Manager

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon may occur when both of the following conditions are met:

  • Output of the message is prevented with Output Toggles By Message Severity Level (CONSOLELOG) or Message Filter File (CONS-MSGFILTER)

  • Output of the message whose output should have been prevented occurs

Even if the above conditions are met, unexpected behaviors do not occur. Messages are correctly prevented from being output.
