Modification

The procedure for modifying a record of the Host Information is as follows:

1. Display the Host Information Update (Basic) screen for the host name whose Host Information record you want to modify.

For details on how to display the screen, refer to Displaying the Host Information Update screen.

2. Modify the contents of the record of the Host Information on the following screens:

  • Host Information Update (Basic) screen

  • Host Information Update (Extension) screen

3. After modifying the contents on either of the screens that are listed in step 2. , enter 'SAVE' for the COMMAND and press the Enter key.

The record of the Host Information is updated with the modified contents and the previous screen appears.

Note

To cancel modification of the record of the Host Information and return to the previous screen, after you enter 'SAVE' for the COMMAND, press PF3 before you press the Enter key.
