Receive Multiplex Level

You can specify the number of instances of the Receive processing that the Receive system as a whole carries out simultaneously. The maximum number of instances of the Receive processing that HULFT carries out at a time is called the 'Receive Multiplex Level.' You can specify the Receive Multiplex Level by specifying Receive Multiplex Level (RCV-MAXCON) in the System Environment Settings.

If the Receive system accepts a connection from the Send system that exceeds the Receive Multiplex Level, a Receive Multiplex Level error occurs, and the Receive system disconnects from the Send system.

= Remarks =

When the host on the sending side is notified of a Receive Multiplex Level error, the Send system can automatically attempt to reconnect to the Receive system. To reconnect, retry must be enabled by specifying Receive Multiplex Level Over Retry in the System Environment Settings on the host on the sending side.
