If you shut down the operating system while HULFT is running, logs may not be output correctly.

The applicable log files and logs are as follows:

  • Send Log file

  • Post-send Job Execution Log file

  • Receive Log file

  • Post-receive Job Execution Log file

  • Observe Log file

  • Schedule Log file

  • Resend Queue file

  • Job Notification Log file

  • hulrjob Execution Log file

  • utlrjob Execution Log file

  • hultrg Execution Log file

  • Multiple receive information file

  • File Access Log file

  • Command execution log file

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon may occur if you shut down the operating system when one of the following conditions is met:

  • An ongoing or waiting transfer exists in the Send process.

  • An ongoing transfer exists in the Receive process.

  • An ongoing request exists in the Observe process.

  • An ongoing or waiting scheduled event exists in the Schedule process.

  • All of the following conditions are met:

    • One of the following is specified for Operation Log Output Option (oplselect) in the System Environment Settings;

      • 1 (Output only the File Access Log)

      • 2 (Output only the Command Execution Log)

      • 3 (Output both the File Access Log and Command Execution Log)

    • You execute a HULFT command.

Alternative workaround

Stop all HULFT services and then shut down the operation system.

Status description

Even if the above conditions are met, logs are output correctly.
