Manual conversion of management information

In HULFT10, some of the file formats have been changed. Therefore, file conversion is necessary.

You can convert the management information by using Command Prompt. Move to the folder in which HULFT is newly installed and execute the Management Information Conversion command.

Format of command

hulconv {-hulpath path|-hulexep path}

Explanation of parameters

-hulpath path

Original Management Information storage path (Optional)

Specify the original HULPATH of HULFT in an absolute path.

Specify it when the original version is HULFT7.

-hulexep path

HULFT execution module storage path (Optional)

Specify the original Installation Folder (...bin) in which HULFT is installed in an absolute path.

Specify it when the original version is HULFT8 or higher.

Notes

• Make sure that you specify either the parameter -hulpath or the parameter -hulexep. You cannot specify both at the same time.

• Before executing the Management Information Conversion command, store the following backup of files and folders that are created in Preparation for a version upgrade in any folder:

  • Files and folders under HULPATH (when the previously installed version of HULFT is HULFT7)

  • HULFT execution module storage folder (...bin) (when the previously installed version is HULFT8 or higher)
