Machine environment

The setup program copies the files required for the operation of HULFT, creates the items the Start menu, and registers services. When you install HULFT on a machine on which a lower version of HULFT has already been installed, refer to the following:

Login as a Windows system administrator (for registration of the service with the setup program)

To use the clustering function on HULFT10 for Windows-Server, ensure the following:

• Proper behavior of the clustering software on the servers (nodes) constituting the clustering system

  For details on how to check the behavior of your clustering software, refer to the manuals of the software.

• Setting of the following resources to be organized into a single group so that they can be viewed and used from all nodes on which HULFT runs, by using the administrative tool of the clustering software:

  • IP address resources

  • Shared disk resources
