Management Information Registration

HULFT registers the same File ID (within 50 uppercase alphanumeric characters including "_") on both the sending side and receiving side. It carries out file transfer based on management information records that are associated with the file ID.

The file ID should be registered for each file both on the sending side (in the Send Management Information) and on the receiving side (in the Receive Management Information).

In addition to the file ID, you need to register other management information records that are managed by other IDs. During a file transfer, the minimum management information required at the sending side and the receiving side is shown below. In a communication test, HULFT carries out a file transfer within itself on the same machine. To do this, certain information needs to be registered.

The sections that describe the needed information are listed in order of registration procedure in the table shown below. Use the following corresponding IDs:

Note

Although the local host name of the machine is given as 'HOST01' in this document, you can use any name that is suitable for your environment.

Next, register the information by using System Configuration menu on the HULFT Management Console.
