Operation by users other than Windows system administrator
The SYSTEM account, Windows system administrators who belong to the Administrators group, and general users who belong to the Users group can operate HULFT.
This section explains the differences between the operations a general user can perform and the operations the Windows system administrator can perform when they operate HULFT.
Installation of HULFT
Only Windows system administrators can install HULFT.
Registration and deletion of HULFT service
Only Windows system administrators can register and delete the HULFT service.
Startup and termination of HULFT system
Startup, termination, and forced termination of HULFT processes using Process Controller
The processes that can be started, ended, and forcibly ended differ according to the user who starts the HULFT Management Console, as follows:

Starting, stopping, or forced stopping of HULFT service by using commands
Only Windows system administrators can start up or stop the HULFT service by using a command.
Both Windows system administrators and general users can forcibly end HULFT processes by using a command.
Startup of HULFT Management Console, HULFT operation commands, and utilities
Both Windows system administrators and general users can start the HULFT Management Console, and run HULFT operation commands and utilities. The user who started the processing cannot carry out the processing if the user account is not assigned the appropriate user rights, or is not granted the appropriate access permissions.
Points to be noted when operating HULFT as general user
-
Processes for the HULFT Management Console, the HULFT operation commands, or the utilities are carried out using the rights of the user who started them. The Send process, the Receive process, the Observe process, and the Scheduler process are carried out by the user account that is specified for Account Name in the System Environment Settings. Therefore, the specified user cannot carry out the processing if the user's account is not assigned the appropriate user rights, or is not granted the appropriate access permissions.
-
When you operate HULFT as a general user, permissions to access the appropriate files and folders that HULFT uses must be set for the account.
Refer to Access permission settings for the necessary access permissions.
Job Execution
The accounts of the activating user and actual executing user for each job type are shown in the table below.
If Account Name in the System Environment Settings is specified, the job is executed with the specified account. The job cannot be executed if appropriate user rights were not assigned or if appropriate access permissions were not granted to the account.
