Observe Setting function for requests from unregistered hosts
You can specify, for each type of service, whether the Observe system accepts service requests issued from hosts that are not registered in the Host Information. This function is called the "Observe Setting function for requests from unregistered hosts."
The Observe Setting function for requests from unregistered hosts allows you to achieve operation in which the Observe system accepts requests only for specific services and refuses requests for other services.
The Observe Setting function for requests from unregistered hosts is applied to the services shown below:

Post-receive Job Result Inquiry Request (HULJOB)

Job Execution Result Notification (HULSNDRC)

Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB)
To refuse requests for specific services from unregistered hosts, specify "N (No)" for the following fields in the System Environment Settings. Refer to System Environment Settings for details.

During system operation, the Observe system refuses requests for the services that are set to "N" in the System Environment Settings, and handles such requests as errors. In the example shown in the figure, HULFT refuses the connection from the services of Remote Job Execution (HULRJOB) and Post-receive Job Result Inquiry Request (HULJOB).
