-
You cannot restore backup files to an environment that is different from the one that you created the backup files on.
Backup Method
A HULFT backup can be made by the following procedure. It is recommended that the user who installed HULFT or the Windows system administrator perform the following tasks. In this procedure, it is assumed that "HULPATH" is set as "HULFT_folder
1. Move to HULFT installation folder.
2. Check the environment of HULFT.
3. Move to the 'etc' folder, which is the HULPATH environment.
4. Check that the folder is the HULPATH environment.
Confirm that it is the folder which is described in the 'hulft.ini' file in the bin folder.
5. Create a backup.
Copy all the files under the environment of HULPATH into an arbitrary folder.
In this case, all files that exist in this folder are backed up. Therefore, log files are also backed up. To exclude log files from the backup, use the following commands to delete the log data beforehand.
-
Send and Receive Log Deletion command (utllog)

Observe Log Delete command (utlobsrm)

Schedule Log Deletion command (schrmlog)
6. Confirm that a backup has been created.
The backup is now complete. Retain the backup for recovery.
