Observe Definition file
Change the default contents set during installation in line with the system environment in use.
HULFT must be restarted in order to apply the changes made to the Observe Definition file.
File Name
The file name of the Observe Definition file is 'service.dat.' You cannot change this name. The Observe Definition file is stored in the path where the system file used by HULFT exists (HULPATH).
Description Format
A line with '#' at the beginning is considered as a comment line. A blank line is also acceptable. Several blank lines are also acceptable.
The space code (0x20) or tab code (0x09) is used as the delimiter between fields.

If there is any incorrect input in the Observe Definition file, the request will not be accepted correctly. When modifying the Observe Definition file, make sure to create a backup.

When you would like to use a space in startup command, enclose the whole message within double quotations.
Record Layout
Because the Observe Definition file does not include binary data, it is possible to create it by using an editor such as Notepad. Describe one service per record.
Explanation of each field
The following provides an explanation of each field.

Set a flag value to specify whether to output Observe Log records of the corresponding service.

Do not output log records of the service to the Observe Log
- 1:

Output log records of the service to the Observe Log
Even if you specify '0,' HULFT carries out the Observe processing properly.

The results of each service are always output to the file that is specified for the service.
