When you perform an Update Installation from HULFT8 Manager, unnecessary files remain in the folder after installation

Phenomenon

After you perform an Update Installation from HULFT8 Manager to HULFT10 Manager, unnecessary files remain in the storage folder of the system environment settings files for the HULFT Manager main screen (...\etc) for HULFT10 Manager.

However, the unnecessary files do not affect operation.

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon occurs when all of the following conditions are met:

• The version of the original HULFT Manager is between Ver.8.0.0 and Ver.8.4.1.

• You select one of the following during Update Installation:

  • Update Installation in Custom Installation

  • Express Installation

• You specify the same folder for Original Installation Folder and Update Installation Folder.

When you perform an Update Installation from either of the following to HULFT Manager Ver.10.2.1, unnecessary files do not remain in the folder.

• Update Installation from HULFT8 Manager (Version Upgrade)

• Update Installation from HULFT Manager Ver.10.2.0 (Revision Upgrade)
