Mapping settings
When you set mapping information for a user, the user can log into HULFT without being asked for credentials, even if the Password Check and the Management Screen Security are enabled for HULFT on the destination host.
On HULFT Manager main screen, click the Manager tab, and on the Manager menu, click Mapping Settings. The Mapping Settings screen appears.
Click New Creation on the toolbar. The Mapping Information (New Creation) dialog box is displayed and you can register new mapping information. The following example shows how user ID 'user1' of HULFT Manager is associated with (mapped to) HULFT user name 'HUL_User1' that exists in the connection destination host 'HOST02.'
Enter the necessary information, then click OK to save the mapping information. If a dialog box indicating 'It has been saved successfully.' appears, click OK. The added mapping information is displayed in the Mapping Settings list on the Mapping Settings screen.
Set whether to enable Password Check and Management Screen Security for HULFT on the destination host. For details, refer to the relevant manual for HULFT on the destination host.
Users can connect to HULFT even if you do not set a mapping information for them. However, they must log into HULFT using their credentials when Password Check and Management Screen Security are enabled.
When connecting to HULFT for the first time, if the user selects the Save As Mapped Data check box on the Logon screen, the mapping information is registered and from that point on, the user will be able to log in to the destination host without entering their credentials.
If the user does not select the Save As Mapped Data check box, the mapping information is not set and that user will be required to enter their credentials whenever logging in.
