Deletion

There are two ways to delete a record of the Host Information.

  • Deleting Host Information records from the Host Information Update screen

  • Deleting Host Information records from the Host Information List screen

Deleting Host Information records from the Host Information Update screen

  1. Use either of the following methods:

    • Clicking Host Information in the Management Information section of the Home screen

    • Clicking System Configuration > Host Information

    The Host Information List screen is displayed.

  2. Use one of the following methods:

    • Entering the host name for the record that you intend to delete in the input field of Host Name, and clicking OK

    • Selecting the host name on the list and clicking Edit on the toolbar

    • Right-clicking the host name on the list and selecting Edit on the pop-up menu

    • Selecting and double-clicking the host name on the list

    The Host Information Update screen is displayed.

  3. Click Delete on the toolbar.

    A deletion confirmation message is displayed.

  4. Click Yes.

    A successful completion message is displayed.

  5. Click OK.

    The record of the Host Information for the host name that was displayed is deleted, and the Host Information List screen is displayed.

Deleting Host Information records from the Host Information List screen

  1. Use either of the following methods:

    • Clicking Host Information in the Management Information section of the Home screen

    • Clicking System Configuration > Host Information

    The Host Information List screen is displayed.

  2. Use either of the following methods:

    • Selecting the host name on the list and clicking Delete on the toolbar

    • Right-clicking the host name on the list and selecting Delete on the pop-up menu

    A deletion confirmation message is displayed.

  3. Click Yes.

    A successful completion message is displayed.

  4. Click OK.

    The record of the Host Information for the selected host name is deleted.
