Security

The security function of HULFT Manager consists of Password Check and Management Screen Security.

You can select one of the following methods to connect to a HULFT host via HULFT Manager.

  • Connect HULFT without checking user information.

  • Check the user ID and the password to connect HULFT. (Apply the Password Check)

  • Check the user ID and the password to connect HULFT and limit available functions per user. (Apply the Management Screen Security)

Note

  • You can specify whether or not to apply the Password Check or the Management Screen Security on HULFT Manager. However, user permissions settings for HULFT cannot be configured on HULFT Manager. Those settings need to be configured on HULFT installed on the destination host.

  • The security function is not available when you connect to HULFT for K.
