:

Hyphen (-), Period (.)

However, you cannot specify the Host Name using hyphen (-) in the following programs, because these programs use the symbol to define range:

  • Host Information List Output program (XRHSTLST)

  • Send Log List/File Output program (XRSLOGL)

  • Receive Log List/File Output program (XRRLOGL)

Meanwhile, HULFT-HUB may add Underscore (_) to this field in some cases.

*3

:

This is not used in HULFT Manager Ver.6 or later.

*4

:

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

*5

:

If you select 'SAN(XLD)' for the Connection Type, you cannot default this field.

*6

:

When the host type is zOS, only 'Volume Serial' is enabled for the Device Type.

Explanation of Each Field

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

Host Name

The host name to identify the host on the sending side or on the receiving side

This Host Name is linked to the Host Name in the Transfer Group Information.

Send Process Multiplex Level by Host

Send Process Multiplex Level to above host

When you specify '0,' HULFT does not control Send Process Multiplex Level by Host.

Defaulting this field sets '0.'

Make the value of Send Process Multiplex Level by Host not greater than that of Send Startup Task Count in the System Environment Settings.

Local Net Proxy Server Name

Name of server running 'HULFT FireWall' of your network

This is necessary while connecting to 'HULFT FireWall' from the local network.

Note

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

Local Net Proxy Port No.

Port number used by 'HULFT FireWall' of the Local Net Proxy Server

This is necessary while connecting to 'HULFT FireWall' from the local network.

Note

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

Global Net Proxy Server Name

Name of server running 'HULFT FireWall' of the global network

This is necessary while connecting to HULFT FireWall from the global network (the internet).

Note

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

Global Net Proxy Port No.

Port number used by 'HULFT FireWall' of the Global Net Proxy Server

This is necessary while connecting to 'HULFT FireWall' from the global network (the internet).

Note

The value is automatically set by HULFT-HUB system, in the case where you send or receive files via HULFT-HUB Server.

Device Type

This tag is valid if you specify 'SAN(XLD)' for the Connection Type.

  • Volume Serial

  • Device Information

In the case of HULFT for zOS, the specification of 'Device Information' brings about Data Access Error.

Specify 'Volume Serial' in the case of HULFT for zOS.

Volume Serial 1/Device Information 1

Path to shared volume for transfer

If you specify 'Volume Serial' for the Device Type, the description of the field becomes 'Volume Serial 1,' while if you specify 'Device Information' for the field, the description becomes 'Device Information 1,' respectively.

If you specify 'Device Information' for the Device Type, HULFT specifies Device Number in the case of MSP, while the application specifies Device Name in the case of XSP.

Volume Serial 2/Device Information 2

Path to alternative device if the device specified in the Volume Serial 1/Device Information 1 is not available

If you specify 'Volume Serial' for the Device Type, the description of the field becomes 'Volume Serial 2,' while if you specify 'Device Information' for the field, the description becomes 'Device Information 2,' respectively.

If you specify 'Device Information' for the Device Type, HULFT specifies Device Number in the case of MSP, while the application specifies Device Name in the case of XSP.
