Only hyphens (-) and periods (.) can be set. However, you cannot specify a host name that contains a hyphen (-) for the target host of the following programs:

  • Output Host Information List program (XRHSTLST)

  • Output Send Log List program (XRSLOGL)

  • Output Receive Log List program (XRRLOGL)

This is because a hyphen (-) is used for range specification when a host name is specified for the above programs.

When you use HULFT-HUB, HULFT-HUB may set a host name with an underscore (_).

HULFT-HUB uses the host name with an underscore (_) to manage HULFT. You cannot use an underscore (_) in a host name for transfer.

Explanation of each field

This section explains the fields to be specified in the Transfer Group Information.

This transfer group ID is associated with Transfer Group ID in the Send Management Information and the Receive Management Information.

Points to be noted when configuring settings

Host Name

The same host name cannot be registered more than once in one transfer group.

Behavior when multiple hosts are registered

Host Name

The behavior when multiple hosts are registered for the transfer group ID in the Send Management Information differs between the Send File and the Send Request.

Send File

HULFT sends data to all the hosts registered in the transfer group ID (multicasting).

Send Request

HULFT sends data only to hosts that executed the Send Request.

If a host that executed the Send Request has not been registered in Transfer Group ID, an error occurs.
