List of Host Information fields

You can register detailed information about the host on the sending side or the receiving side. For the registration method, refer to Using the Host Information.

The Host Information is optional. If this information is omitted, the host name registered on Communications Server is specified as Transfer Group ID in the Send Management Information. In addition, the value of Code Set for Transfer (KCODETYPE) is set to 'Shift-JIS' and the value of Standard for Japanese is set to '83JIS.'

However, you cannot specify the Host Name using hyphen (-) in the following programs, because these programs use the symbol to define range: Host Information List Output program (XRHSTLST), Send Log List/File Output program (XRSLOGL), and Receive Log List/File Output program (XRRLOGL)

Explanation of each field

This section explains the fields to be specified in the Host Information.

Host Name

Host name to identify the host on the sending side or on the receiving side

At the time of sending, this host name is associated with the host name of the Transfer Group Information.

At the time of receiving, this host name is associated with the local host name of the host on the sending side.

Send Process Multiplex Level for the host that is specified for Host Name

When you specify '0,' HULFT does not control Send Process Multiplex Level by Host.

Omitting this field sets '0.'

Set this field to a value that is equal to or lower than the setting value of Send Startup Task Count (TASKCNT) in the System Environment Settings.

Standard for Japanese

JIS Year of the character code that is specified for Code Set for Transfer (KCODETYPE)

Connection Type

Connection type for the host specified in Host Name

LAN:

Specify when using a LAN connection

Only 'LAN' can be set.

Use HULFT7 Comm. Mode

Communication method for the host that is specified for Host Name

Disabled:

HULFT first uses the communication method for HULFT10 to connect to the remote host. If the remote host uses a lower version, HULFT switches to the communication method for HULFT7.

Enabled:

HULFT uses the communication method for HULFT7 from the beginning.

Omitting this field sets 'Disabled.'

Proxy Server

This field is set when HULFT-HUB or HULFT-WebConnect is used.

In HULFT Manager, do not modify the settings of the fields that are displayed for Proxy Server.

Security

Allow Send Request/Resend Request

Specify whether to accept the services of the Send Request (SEND) and the Resend Request (RESEND).
